Elske is Danish for “love”, and boy oh boy are you going to love this place. Founded by a husband-wife team, Elske will take you on a culinary adventure with its unique tasting menus and unusual taste combinations. One of Elske’s most defining characteristics is its courtyard with an outdoor fireplace. While its fireplace might not be needed in the warmer months, the courtyard remains the perfect spot for a pre or post dinner drink.
Homestead on the Roof is any foodie’s dream come true. This farm-to-table restaurant is the real deal, sourcing its ingredients from its own organic garden. Grab a seat on the rooftop patio and feel like you’re in a green oasis. The 80 person patio overlooks the large garden and is lined with planter boxes and vertical hanging gardens containing the fruits and veggies you’ll find on your plate!
Add some Peruvian flair to your next event with Tanta. This restaurant borrows from traditional peruvian fare favorites but isn’t afraid to get creative--there’s even a section on their menu called “Chef’s having fun.” Sip Tanta’s famous Pisco Sour cocktail with your guests on the stunning rooftop terrace, which just opened for the season this month. And don’t be scared of a little rain, Tanta has a retractable awning so weather won’t stop the party!
After a round of Whirlyball, lasertag or bowling, retire to Whirlyball Chicago’s outdoor terrace for cocktails and food. If the cold summer nights call for it, small firepits can be lit to keep you and your guests warm. Get active with your guests and soak in the stunning Chicago skyline!
