Find me on:

The holiday rush is a hard hit for venue managers. It's the busiest time of the year and things can get pretty crazy. I went around the office and asked some of our event experts some tips and tricks for getting through the next few months. Yes, it's almost November and here are 5 easy hacks to get ready for holiday season.

"You have been hacked" blinking

Hack 1

Set revenue goals. Keep track of your revenue on last year's high-demand dates. You'll want to use these number as a base for your goals this year. By using these numbers, you can cut down on some of the back and forth with your clients who might not have the right budgets.

Hack 2

Prioritize your leads. This goes hand-in-hand with hack #1. Make sure you're focusing on leads that will help you reach your goals. Hint, hint: we help with this in our platform. Based on someone's event details, we can tell you their level of priority!

Hack 3

Think about your most popular holiday event types and create pre-set food/beverage packages for each of them. Make sure you mazimize on the things your venue does best!

Hack 4

Plan experiences that can bring in more revenue. You might not have a holiday party every single nigt of the week. Use those off nights to create themed tastings and trivia nights to help pull in some extra revenue.

Hack 5

Utilize email marketing! Sending emails to past clients is a great way to get the word out about your holiday packages. Make sure you're not sounding too spammy in your emails though. There's a fine line between being informative and being annoying.

Well, what are you waiting for?!?! If you haven't started already, start gearing up for holiday season! And, guess what...we can help with that!
