8 Venues With Phenomenal Fall Menus
After enjoying the 80 degree weather in NYC last week - I was in full denial that summer had in fact ended. However, now that the temperatures have cooled once more and the leaves have begun to change, I can no longer deny that we are in the midst of autumn.
As open toed shoes give way to fall boots, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite venues with phenomenal fall menus. After all, you need a place to show off your fall wardrobe.

Park Avenue encompasses everything it means to be a “seasonal restaurant”. In fact, some may say they take this title a bit too seriously by changing both the decor and name of their restaurant in conjunction with each season (current Park Avenue Autumn). Located in midtown east, Park Avenue is a great choice if you are looking for an amazing spread of fall inspired dishes and an upscale ambiance.
Food: Corn Gnocchi, Green Circle Chicken,The Park Avenue Burger (not seasonal but should not be missed)
Libations: Water Cooler Toddy

Cafe clover masters the delicate balance of being sophisticated while still maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. The creatively prepared menu features ultra fresh vegetables, seasonally inspired dishes and makes the most of locally sourced foods. I’m surprised each season as Cafe Clover continues to outdo themselves with updates and additions to the menu. This spot is perfect for those who are health conscience but enjoy a unique and flavorful menu.
Food: Burrata Biscuits, Octopus A La Plancha, Teff Pappardelle

Well-known for their cocktails, the food at Maven is sometimes forgotten. However, with their amazing seasonal menu the food is definitely not something to miss. If you are looking for the perfect cocktail and food pairing, Maven has you covered with their suggested cocktail pairings for each starter and main dish. With every cocktail looking like a “must try” this guide is helpful in narrowing down which of the amazing drinks you should try.

Nope is one of those “go to” restaurants in San Francisco which oftentimes makes getting a reservation there hard to come by. Nevertheless, once you finally dine there their seasonal menu created with locally sourced ingredients will make the long wait worth it. The venue is also beautiful. If you can snag a table upstairs overlooking the bar, you get a great view of the bartenders and cooks working their magic.
Food: Fried Brussel Sprouts, Moroccan Vegetable Tagine, Housemade Pappardelle

Founding Farmers embodies everything it means to be “farm to table”. With their seasonal menus, custom made farm dining tables and rustic chic setting you can’t help but feel at ease in this venue. From their amazing seasonal menu to their vast array of homemade drinks you can’t go wrong with a trip here.
Food: Butternut Squash Mascarpone Ravioli, Roasted Tomato Soup

Perfect For: Group Dinner, Date Night
At first glance, Proof may appear to be just another wine bar but lucky for us, wine is not all they have to offer. With their shareable dishes and unique food combinations the food at Proof is also not to be missed. They also have a good happy hour where you can taste some of their seasonal bites and amazing drinks.
Food: Seared Potato Gnocchi, Roasted Organic Chicken Breast, Sunchoke Apple Soup

A gem hidden in the loop (located in the Marriott downtown), The Florentine is the perfect spot for after work drinks or a business lunch. The ambiance is trendy yet welcoming and with their simple menu, The Florentine understands what they do well and executes flawlessly.

Beatrix has two locations and you can’t go wrong visiting either one. Described as comfort food with a healthy twist this restaurant offers a seasonal menu that is to die for. If you are looking for a great brunch spot I’d also recommend visiting one of their locations on the weekend.
