If you are looking to make your next event unique and memorable you may want to think about hosting the event at a raw space. Raw spaces allow you to take a blank canvas and paint your own masterpiece. If you are a Pinterest enthusiast, raw spaces are defintely for you. To help you get started with your raw space journey we've put together a few of our favorite affordable raw spaces in San Francisco. Spark is the perfect raw space for intimate events. The space accommodates up to 40 seated dinner guests and 70 for standing room only. Located near the MUNI, Spark Arts gives your guests the flexibility of transportation options (hard to come by in SF!). This versatile space can be used for dinner parties, book club meetings, art themed birthday parties, corporate events, offsites, team building workshops and much more. The American Book Binder's Museum

The American Book Binder's Museum

The ABM is a single-focus museum in a newly renovated urban-contemporary space that is perfect for social events, receptions, and meetings. The space has lots of natural light, high ceilings and access to historical book binding exhibits. The ABM is definitely a unique gem within San Francisco. With a seated capacity of 75 and standing capacity of 112, this spot is perfect for events that are a little bit larger. Located near the MUNI and with parking nearby this is the perfect spot for any form of transportation your guests choose. The team at ABM also offers event support and has an event catering preparation space to accommodate all of your needs.   

 

The Lab

Originally built in 1914 as a union meeting hall, The Lab’s 3,000 square foot space was recently restored to reveal its original hardwood floors, a wall of windows and industrial steel beams. Acoustic ceilings, flexible track lighting, and a Meyer Sound system give the historic space a modern edge. With four 10x8 foot moveable walls this space allows for multiple configurations so you can arrange it any way you like. The space can accommodate 200 standing or 150 seated and is located close to the 16th and Mission BART station.
