What's the Deal with Payment and ExpressBook?

Posted by Lyssa Test on Nov 20, 2017 10:00:00 AM

Our ExpressBook feature has been around for a few months now and we hope you’re liking the changes so far! One big change that you may have noticed is that we now ask for your credit card information before submitting your request to the venue. Don’t worry, we aren’t charging you for that $5,000 private dinner the second you click submit! You won’t be charged until the venue accepts your event or sends a revised proposal back your way for approval. Even then, you’ll only be charged 25% of your event’s total and you can get a full refund if you cancel up to 14 days before your event.

Venue Spotlight: Distilled NYC

Posted by Lyssa Test on Nov 16, 2017 1:00:00 PM

Distilled NYC is a New American Public House in Tribeca and the perfect destination for any private or semi private event. Distilled serves up creative pub fare like wings and burgers and untraditional bar eats like sushi, veggie platters, and more. Come for the on-the-house popcorn sprinkled with “magic dust” but stick around for Distilled’s libations menu. As the name suggests, the real focus here is on the cocktails. Of course, there’s a decent selection of beer and wine if that’s more your style but if you’re feeling adventurous, we definitely recommend nabbing a cocktail or even divulging in one of Distilled’s signature spiked slushies. And don’t worry, the slushies can be part of your open bar package too!
