Finding a spot for a private event can be tricky, it’s why we created VenueBook. This week we are naming some of the best bars in Chicago for private events.
Located in River North, Ironside is truly a unique venue. Ironside has the look and feel of a ship turned upside. The bi-level sports bar with 23 flatscreen televisions is perfect for a variety of events. They have a 10 person private dining room upstairs and an intimate 100 person basement area for larger events. With the focus on craft beers (16 on tap!) and American food with seafood twists, this is a great spot for a corporate happy hour or cocktail event.
A multi-level tavern with multiple private event spaces, this spot can accommodate a variety of events. Self described as “eccentric”, this River North venue serves up mid-century cocktails and European inspired dishes in an old world decor ambiance. With endless opportunities in this space, it’s definitely a must know if you are booking private events in the Chicago area.
Elske is a low-key spot offering a la carte and tasting menus of American fare with Danish influences. Located in the West Loop, this is definitely not a spot to miss. Their handicap accessible second floor private dining room has a full service bar and private bathrooms. The space is modern, airy, open and still picks up the liveliness and energy from the main dining room.
None of these work for you? That’s okay, we have lots of venues to choose from. Click below to check out our other great Chicago venues.
