Election Day Drink Specials in Washington D.C.

Posted by Olivia Brendel on Oct 30, 2018 4:55:22 PM

Tuesday, November 6th is fast approaching. Whether you work in politics or not, drinks after the stress of election day are a must. How do our friends in D.C. celebrate the hustle and bustle? They hit the polls, of course, and then head straight to their favorite bars to unwind and sip on some specials.

1. Roofer's Union

Roofers Union boasts half priced bottled beers on “Geek Night” every Tuesday, but that’s not all that's happening this November 6th. Enjoy happy hour prices all evening (until 1:30 a.m.) as you tune into the results and try to relax.

2. Logan Tavern

Unlike some politicians, Logan Tavern knows what the people want. Their election day festivities are represented by the slogan “Midterm Madness: Because you shouldn’t watch alone or sober”. Grab your coworkers and friends and head over for election specials and complimentary trail mix for guests with “I Voted” stickers. Updates and results will be projected for easy viewing!

3. Rebellion

Bring your anxieties and frustrations and ‘Join the Rebellion’! This Dupont Circle tavern pays homage to the power of the people and the American Whiskey Rebellion… the perfect spot to celebrate our right to vote! Come for happy hour from 3:30 - 8:00, and choose from over 275 types of bourbon and whiskey.

4. Bracket Room

Arlington natives already head to the Bracket Room for the big games, but on Election Day, capitalize on all of those TVs (39 to be exact) to tune into election results! Whether your party wins or loses, half priced drinks and small plates are there for you.

All drinks aside, we encourage you to vote and make your voice heard. Politicians, campaigners, and lobbyists, my guess is that you’re pretty busy Tuesday evening. It’s not too late to plan a post-Midterm private event to honor your hard work. Check out all of our D.C. venue partners and craft a proposal within seconds at www.venuebook.com.

Happy Voting,

Olivia
