Great Chicago Venues for Holiday Parties
So...holiday season. This means gift giving, cookie eating and party hosting. Now that it's October, it's time to start planning your company holiday party.
Sidenote: we always recommend planning earlier (sometimes as early as September). Read why here.
If you're searching for a venue in Chi Town, I got you boo. Here's my list of great Chicago venues for holiday parties.
Located in River North, Hubbard Inn is bringing old vibes to the city. Enjoy "mid-century" cocktails and European cuisine while you chat with your coworkers about the folks that are known to get too drunk at these events. Book the entire venue (yes, that's all three floors) or rent out a floor for your company. If you have a smaller group, Hubbard Inn has a variety of lounges that are perfect for parties for 30 or less. Whichever option you choose, you'll have an incredible time.
I've gotta admit, I've had a slight obsession with pirate's recently. So, naturally, I had to include this in the list of recommendations. Ironside Bar & Galley is a great venue for mixing things up a little. Unless your office is on a boat, this is definitely a crowd pleaser and a great way to end the year. The basement bar, Below Deck, is perfect for privacy. This particular space accommodates 99 standing and 35 seated. If you want something more formal, you can book the entire Main Floor (130 standing and 65 seated). If you decide on Ironside Bar & Galley for your holiday party, please send me an invite.
I always like to include a space with a menu based on seasonal ingredients. I think people really enjoy eating certain meals when they know they can only order it a few months a year. The Marq's seaonal menu will wow your guests AND you can enjoy crafted cocktails while you eat. For the larger bunch, the North Room is a private space that can accommodate up to 100 people standing. If you need even more room, you can book the entire venue. Whatever you need, you can find it at The Marq.
I hope this helps, even just a little, with the craziness of planning a corporate holiday party. If I missed the marq, check out some of our other venues
