Midtown isn't my favorite NYC neighborhood - it lacks the charm other neighborhoods posess and is way too crowded. However, dining in midtown is inevitable. I have tons of friends who work in the area, and if anyone's coming in from the suburbs, they'll want to meet around there as well. Thankfully, there are some great event spaces in Midtown that are perfect for after work drinks or meeting up with friends commuting from Port Authority or Penn Station. Bonus, they're all on the VenueBook Marketplace!
