How to Message a Client on VenueBook

So you just received a lead through VenueBook, but there are still a few details that need to be cleared up. To communicate quickly and efficiently with the client, we created Conversations. Our messaging tool makes it easy to keep all communication about a particular event in one thread.


After you’ve accepted a lead and it becomes an event, you have the option to message the client regarding the event specifics. Clicking into the event will trigger a sidebar pop out. On this side bar, you will see Message.

Our messaging tool is very similar to texting or email and you’ll notice that right away. Quickly chat and send attachments to potential clients. Additionally, your message thread will include event milestones like proposals being signed and payments being made. Once a thread has been started, you can click into it at any time and Reply.

Similar to an email or a text message, you will have a small red counter next to the Conversations icon when you have unread messages.
