Find me on:

The flowers are blooming and the temperature is finally tolerable. You know what goes great with sun and fresh air? A tasty cocktail and views for days. Leave the traditional private rooms behind and treat your team (or guests) to a rooftop bar and the great outdoors.

We're featuring our favorite DC outdoor spots. Read it, dream of summer and book your next event.

Roofers Union

Treat your teammates to a night out on the town at Roofers Union. The rooftop is one of three floors, each with their own vibe. Get intimate on the first level, eat dinner and enjoy the floor-to-ceiling windows on the second floor, and get crazy on the third floor. Just kidding. The third floor rooftop looks over the Adams Morgan neighborhood, and the bar can seat 15. Share a fishbowl (or don't, I don't know what you do at your corporate outings), eat some delicious food and enjoy the weather at this killer rooftop bar.

Don Tito

If you're looking to throw a big summer kickoff event for your company, Don Tito's has what you're looking for. On the third floor you'll find their rooftop that can accommodate a party of 124 standing or 40 sitting. The two bars will keep your guests entertained and buzzin', and the views will keep them talking long after the event. Summer also brings rain, but that isn't a problem at Don Tito. If the rain cramps your style, you still have two other, equally impressive, floors to choose from for your next event.

Arlington Rooftop Bar & Grill

Summer means more light for hanging out, drinking and enjoying the weather. Your co-workers and teammates should get a chance to enjoy this weather too. Leave work early one day and plan an event for your team at Arlington Rooftop Bar & Grill. Their rooftop offers a chill vibe and awesome sunset views. Make it a private event so only you and your co-workers get to enjoy beers and appetizers pre and post sunset!

We all know that you have work to do, but try not to work TOO hard. Your team members will thank you, and honestly, you'll thank yourself when you close up shop early and enjoy the views these spots have to offer.
