VenueBook Vegetarian Friendly Restaurants in Chicago
Today, the saga continues as we cover Chicago's vegetarian scene. I'm not gonna lie, it was far more difficult to find a few VenueBook vegetarian friendly restaurants in Chicago than it was in NYC. I feel like this is expected, but also worth noting. Because of this difficulty, I decided to cave on my original rules and include restaurants that serve pasta. The rules have changed slightly, but I'm confident you'll love the restaurants I picked.
If you're looking for options, Mana Food Bar is the place to go. You'll have a wide selection of dishes to choose from, and you can bring those anti-cheese friends of yours. This intimate spot is great for a weekend date night or just a chill dinner with friends. Intimidated by the menu? Order a bunch of small plates and try them all!!
Revival Social Club is making the list because of the, not one, but TWO tofu dishes they have on the menu. If you're a vegetarian that doesn't do soy products, they also have two delicous pasta dishes. And for me to say a pasta dish is delicious means a lot...I'm an Italian that doesn't like pasta (hope my mom doesn't see this). To top it off, they also have a great selection of vegetarian friendly appetizers and sandwiches!
If you read my last vegetarian post, you know that it just wouldn't be a Gabs veggie blog post if I didn't feature an Indian restaurant. Indian cuisine is my favorite, which means you have to read more about it. Chicago Curry House is doing vegetarian right with an incredible selection of vegetarian appetizers, vegetarian main dishes and Tandoori breads to choose from. You'll leave Chicago Curry House happy and full!
Now that I've given you all the information, all you have to do is book your party and invite your guests. Whichever place you choose, you're guaranteed to eat a great meal. And if you're a meat eater with vegetarian friends, they'll love that you thought about their preferences and pulled through with an amazing restaurant!
