You've been sitting through meeting after meeting, never realizing their full potential...especially the potential of a good lunch meeting. Whether you're planning for your team or clients, lunch meetings can be a great way to change things up.
I know what you're thinking: "how could any meeting be great?" Productive meetings are great meetings. Productive meetings that also include food are meetings that I want to attend. Let's dive deeper, shall we?
1. You're saving time.
Think about it this way: if you schedule a meeting and have lunch after, you've potentially wasted up to two hours of quality work time. If you meet DURING lunch, you have an extra hour at work to accomplish your to-do list.
2. Break up your day.
Meeting at a restaurant for lunch is the perfect way to break up the day. Your coworkers and clients will be glad they can leave the office and enjoy some fresh air!3. Treat your clients and teammates.
Your teammates work hard; I'm sure you know that. Take the burden of bringing lunch off their shoulders for a day. It's also nice because you can pick up the bill and show them you appreciate their hard work. As for clients, everyone needs a little *wink wink nudge nudge*.
TLDR: Lunch meetings are great. You should start having more of them. Your clients and teammates will love you for it.
